********  Warning**********  Waffles is an eight
year old blind Cocker Spaniel, living with a
house full of Golden Retrievers.
Melissa was turned in by her owners
along with Prissy, because they didn't
want any "old dogs" around the house.
Meet Teddy!!!!  This adorable Golden
mix was rescued from a shelter after his
owners of seven years dropped him off.

Winston is a small 6 month old ,
housebroken, good puppy.
Reggie was dumped in a high kill shelter
in Mississippi.  
Magic is approximately 4 months old.
We are fairly certain MacMillan and
Magic are Hovawarts

Honey and Zak are, as
best we can tell, retriever
mixes.   They were
abandoned in our
neighborhood in March.
Presley is just a DOLL! He is 12-14
months old and a small boy at 40 lbs.
Pelham is a 1-2 yr old Golden boy who
is about 50 lbs.
Lucas is a Golden mix who is
approximately 6-7 months old and
weighs about 40 lbs.
Barley is an absolutely adorable 10 week
old Golden/Lab mix!

Davis is a beautiful Golden boy who we
suspect was treated unkindly in his
previous life.
Norman is a Golden mix who is
approximately 2 yrs old and 60 lbs.
Heather is a lovely approx 3 yr old 50 lb
Golden girl.
Greer is about 2 yrs old. This handsome
golden boy is between 40 & 50 lbs
Indy is a sweet golden mix girl. She
came in as a stray to a shelter so her
background is unknown.
ADOPTING A DOG
When you adopt a rescue dog, you are making a commitment to care for his health, solve his behavior problems, give him
praise, provide leadership, reduce his stress, give him plenty of exercise, good food and to not physically or emotionally abuse
him for behaving badly.  If need be, you must be willing to take him to an obedience training class to help establish your
leadership, and control over his unexpected behaviors.  This is what it takes to adopt a rescue Golden. Now you must ask
yourself--am I really ready??
