When I look at what goes in to the small job that I do for the Rescue, I cannot imagine what goes into all that everyone else accomplishes. From my perspective, everything always goes as planned and relatively smoothly. Although I do not get to meet a lot of the dogs that are transported, I do get to know them by reading their Bio's and noting certain distinctions on their transport packages and PetWatch Applications. I print pictures of which are attached to the front of the packets along with their transport sheet. Inside the packs I make sure that Health Certificates, Rabies Certificates, Health info on the pet, PetWatch application and tag, Post Heartworm Info sheet, Leash and magnetic SGRR car tags are in the packets. It is then that this is delivered to the Vet. It must be delivered by Wednesday for pickup and transport to begin early Thursday mornings. This seems to be something so simple, in relation to what other volunteers do for this wonderful organization. I have seen how it takes everyone to make this a successful Rescue. Each and every one of of us are dependent on each other. For me alone, I am so dependent on a number of other volunteers doing their jobs to be able to successfully do mine. I am so thankful to be a part of this wonderful Rescue. It allows me to give back to those precious puppies that are always there to give us their unconditional love. There are no expectations from their end, yet we all see how deserving they truly are.
