Mya - Adoption Pending!
Beautiful Mya is an 18 month-old Goldendoodle whose owner had to move and could not take her with him. One of his co-workers took Mya, hoping to place her on their own, but then reached out to our rescue for assistance.
Mya has been well cared for and is a wonderful companion. She loves being outside and with daily walks, she is happy to settle inside and chill. She is friendly to everyone she meets and enjoys playing with children. She has a very "golden" personality and even gives that famous "golden paw" when she wants affection. Mya is house-broken, and walks pretty well on the leash. She is good with other dogs but has no known history with cats. Mya loves to cuddle and is very affectionate, but her favorite thing to do is RETRIEVE!
Mya is a tall girl and weighs about 69 pounds. She is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, micro-chipped, and heartworm negative. She will be ready to come north from AL in mid-January to be directly adopted. If you are approved to adopt through SGRR, have a physically fenced yard, and an active lifestyle, please contact Cheryl to be considered to adopt this cuter than cute girl. If not yet approved, please fill out an application to be considered.
Rescued dogs come with a range of needs - from behavioral to emotional to medical. When approved applicants adopt such dogs, they agree to continue the rehabilitation we have begun.
