Teddie
Meet lovable Teddie, an approximately 1-2 year old Yellow Lab who is full of life and happiness. Teddie wandered up to the home of a dog-lover and, try as she might to find his owners, no one came forward to claim Teddie. He is now in foster care with this good Samaritan and is getting lots of love while he awaits his forever home.
Teddie is a friendly fellow who is good with other dogs and enjoys playing with kids. He is doing well with his house-training and is also crated trained. He is a smart boy knowing basic commands such as sit, no, and outside, and he he has learned his new name in a short time! He enjoys his fenced yard and does not try to dig his way out. He is looking for an active family to take him on new adventures and who will continue to help him become the best boy ever! Be sure to watch Teddie in his video!
Teddie, who weighs about 65 lbs, is heartworm negative, has been neutered, brought up-to-date on vaccinations, and is micro-chipped. He received a Proheart 6 injection for heartworm prevention so he will not need any additional HW preventative for 6 months. Teddie will come up north in early January to be directly adopted. If you are ready for lots of love and devotion, Teddie is your boy!
If you are approved to adopt through SGRR, are home most of the day, have an active life-style, and a sense of humor, please contact Cheryl to be considered to adopt this wonderful boy. If you are not yet approved, visit our website to fill out an application!
Rescued dogs come with a range of needs - from behavioral to emotional to medical. When approved applicants adopt such dogs, they agree to take on whatever comes with the dog. It is up to YOU to continue the rehabilitation we have begun. This is what it means to rescue.
