Sundance is the smallest pup with the biggest heart! He is a 4 month-old purebred Golden Retriever who came to our rescue from a retiring breeder along with 6 other pups.
He is our smallest pup at approximately 15lbs with a heart of gold. He loves everyone and especially loves playing with his sibling Sparkle. Sundance is looking for an active family and would do best in a home with another dog he can learn from. He gets along well with dogs and cats alike.
Sundance will be micro-chipped and given puppy vaccinations. He is heartworm negative and received a Proheart 6 injection so he will not need any additional heartworm preventative for 6 months. He will be headed north from AL in mid-October to be directly adopted.
Adopters must commit to the spaying or neutering of their adopted pup when it reaches 1 year of age, or as your veterinarian recommends, and must provide proof of neutering/spaying to SGRR.
If you are approved to adopt through SGRR, you are home most of the day, and have an active life-style, and a sense of humor, please contact Cheryl to be considered to adopt this sparkling beauty. If you are not yet approved, visit our website to fill out an application!
Rescued dogs come with a range of needs - from behavioral to emotional to medical. When approved applicants adopt such dogs, they agree to take on whatever comes with the dog. It is up to YOU to continue the rehabilitation we have begun. This is what it means to rescue.
