This beauty is Luna (FKA Drexel) who ended up in Mobile County Shelter in AL, and although no one came to claim her she has an awesome new home with Adriaan and Robert and living in CT.
Adriaan tells us that Luna is doing great! She is a love-bug and a people dog for sure! Friendly to all ages, which they love! She has settled in nicely. She has her favorite spots in the house to sleep, one is a very cozy chair, but her favorite spot is on their deck outside, enjoying the beautiful weather and watching the squirrels and birds. Luna is good with other dogs, but does get a little excited when she meets them while they are out on a walk, so this is something they are working on. She is great in the car, and now that they are working from home, they were very happy to learn that she is not a big barker, so she can lay at their feet while they are on their ZOOM calls, with no worries of interruptions. She can be such a laid back dog, so they were able to bring her to Rhode Island on vacation in July and she did great! No problems at the beach or in the rental house. Luna is making sure they are getting their exercise, which is a win for all!. They did a DNA test and learned she is half Lab, part Husky, with a little Atika mixed in! They could not be happier she is a big, beautiful dog that has quickly become a member of their family. They would like to thank every one for allowing them to take care of Luna and making her their forever dog! Don't the SGRR dogs take the best selfies as they are so happy and proud to be part of a family!

This is cutie pie Ethan who, although sadly up in a shelter in Baldwin County, AL, has his wonderful forever home with Rose and living in North Jersey. Rose tells us that Ethan is doing well. He does have some arthritis and he is on meds which has also helped his appetite. Ethan loves to go for a nice walk each morning, and he loves to suck on his blanket! Rose tells us that he is a good dog and she is very happy for him and her! This is Millie who made her forever home with Dorian and Chris last summer. A couple of weeks ago Dorian and Chris went back home to be married in New York. Unfortunately, Hurricane Isaias hit and they had no power for the 5 days preceding the wedding. Thankfully, neighbors had offered a generator, but the power came back on the night before the wedding at 9:00.
Look how beautiful everything was! Millie looks so proud! |
