Lucky Lucie!

How happy does Lucie look! Lucie (fka Tootie) was found as a stray and ended up in Mobile County Animal Shelter, and although no one came to claim her, she is living her best life in her forever home with Mary and her family in Connecticut.

Mary and her family were fostering Lucie and immediately fell in love with her! They are so incredibly grateful and fortunate to have fostered thru SGRR and found their new dog. Lucie has adjusted well to her new home! She loves swimming, playing with other dogs, going on hikes, going to the beach and just chilling at home.

Lucie has become quite the traveler, she has been to Block Island, Martha's Vineyard, Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Narragansett and more! Wow and this is in just a couple of months! Lucie has a cat sibling and they are still acclimating to each other, but have made great progress in the last couple of months and are doing much better.

She went to obedience school and she did very well in it, as she is so SMART!
