This beauty is Koda who lived with his former family since he was a puppy. His Mom and Dad moved to the Northwest and left Koda in the care of his grandparents, and they realized that Koda needed more activity than they could give him.
Koda has a wonderful new home with Gary and Barbara. Gary tells us that Koda is doing fine, and he eats very well and is always looking for food, which sometimes includes "counter surfing" which they are working on. Koda is active, but with the weather and snow they are not in the backyard too much, although he loves the snow and tries to take the shovel away from Gary while he is shoveling the driveway.... he has to constantly play. As he was from the Mobile area it is likely Koda did not see much snow, at least not this amount! They are still kind of keeping Koda quiet after his heartworm treatment. With the weather getting a little nicer, they walk a few miles everyday and does not go crazy upon seeing other dogs. He is well behaved in this sense and knows the immediate neighborhood. He is strong and loves tug of war with anything! Gary said he will have to change this but with the COVID and working from home on his laptop, sometimes he has no choice than to play tug of war with his left hand. Happy life to Koda!
