![]() This is sweet Millie who was found on one of our volunteer's friend's farm in AL. Millie is making her home with Joseph and Michele. Joseph tells us that sweet Millie is a tough little girl as she had to be in order to survive in the wild. Joseph says that Millie seems very happy now and fairly well adjusted to city life. She still does not like motorcycle sounds, and gets scared when she hears them. Millie does not like the cold weather (glad spring is coming) but she thinks that the snow is cool and edible. She has put on some weight as her ribs no longer show so prominently . They have been doing some training with her, which she likes because Millie loves getting treats, She is a Velcro dog as she follows them around where ever they go at home. She loves to curl up beside them and sleep. It took several days before they heard her bark, and it is the sweetest, softest hoarse little bark. It is rare that she does bark. She loves her toys and brings them into the living room and works diligently on them and she especially loves treat dispensing toys. Michele and Joe just love Millie and they think she is realizing that she is in her forever home. Such a great update on Millie! Millie so deserves this!
