This is handsome Remy who was found by a kind lady in Louisiana. She kept Remy in her home during his shelter home. Although no one came to claim Remy he has a wonderful new home with Kimberly and Thomas.
Kim tells us that Remy is doing wonderfully. They feel like Remy has always been a part of their family forever! They love him so much even when he is a total devil!!! He is lucky he is so cute! Remy has adapted to his new routine, he is eating and sleeping well. Especially the eating part! They have been working with a trainer since they adopted him, which has been a great resource for them. He has mastered sit, lie down, crate, paw and wait! They are still working on "leave it" with other dogs and squirrels. He is a quite excitable little puppy who likes to jump up off all four legs into the air. It is quite something, their trainer is wondering if he has a smidge of a border collie in his genetics? He is crate trained and often sleeps in his crate for his naps, and also overnight with the door open so he can move around their room. They leave him in the crate when they have to leave him alone, which he still does not love. He mostly just sits and stares while they are gone with an occasional sad little howl(which they were able to see on the Furbo). Poor Remy! They hope the more they practice leaving him alone for a bit and coming back so that he learns that we will always come back for him. He absolutely loves to play, especially with other dog. He does need to learn some playing manners. Kim said she does not think Remy learns how big he is! He is a bit of an oaf - ha ha! He barks as he is wary of tall men and they are working on that also, but Remy does not know that! They could not be happier to have Remy as part of their little family and cannot thank SGRR enough for bringing him to them. Love the picture of Remy holding his brush! Happy life to Remy!
